#R1# Balisi looks to land a combination. Stone sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.#CUT2# It looks like Luciano Stone has been cut. Balisi fails with a takedown attempt. Balisi throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease. Balisi throws a right and a left that Stone avoids nicely. It looked like Stone was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Balisi misses with the combination.
Balisi misses with a few strikes there.
Stone attempts a counter takedown but Balisi avoids it well and moves away. A punch combination from Stone misses. Balisi falls off balance throwing a combination
#CL# and Stone holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. #TD# Stone jumps into guard, dragging Balisi to the mat.
Stone wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Balisi postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Stone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Balisi's guard. #REVR# Balisi lands a decent punch to the body there.#T1# Stone keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Balisi's head. Balisi is wriggling around but Stone manages to pass to half guard.
Balisi pushes Stone off but Stone dives into side control.
Balisi bucks up and tries to throw Stone off but instead Stone has got his back! Stone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Stone punches Balisi on the ear. #SUB# Stone tightening his grip on Balisi, looking for the choke. #SUB# Stone working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Balisi wants to get back to his feet. #T2##SUB# Balisi is trying to get to his feet but he's left his neck exposed and Stone manages to sink in a rear naked choke! Great counter grappling by Stone!
