#R1# Roma misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ryan lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.#TD2# Roma throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ryan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Roma is in Ryan's guard. Ryan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Roma's guard. #REVR# Roma wants to sweep but no luck. Roma seems keen to control Ryan's posture. Roma is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#ES2# Roma is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. #TD# Ryan jumps guard and drags Roma to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roma works over Ryan with some ground and pound from guard.#T1# Ryan looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Roma must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Oh Ryan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Roma postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ryan covers up, he's hurt! Roma keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Roma and the ref steps in to end the fight! Roma can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
