#R1# Payet throws a head kick that misses. Dimitri Payet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stanfield misses with an uppercut. Payet saw that one coming. Payet swinging wildly here.
Payet works the jab nicely. Stanfield tries to work over Payet's front leg with a kick but Payet checks it. Payet tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Stanfield manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Payet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stanfield throws the left hand but Payet avoids the punch easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Payet fails with an attempt to clinch.

Stanfield really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Payet. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.#T3# Stanfield with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Stanfield arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Payet's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
