That must have hurt him.#TD2# Kannemeyer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kannemeyer lands in his opponent's guard. Kannemeyer showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Lysenkov wants to stand and escape but Kannemeyer is having none of it. #ES# Lysenkov manages to escape and get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lysenkov moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Kannemeyer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lysenkov.

I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...#TD2# Lysenkov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.#ES# Nguyen pushes Lysenkov off and gets back to his feet. Nguyen really is a fat lump.#TD2# Lysenkov shoots in and bounces Nguyen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nguyen working a defensive guard but Lysenkov manages to pass into side control anyway.
Nguyen tries to improve position but can't. Nguyen can't do much from the bottom here. #T1# Nguyen is being controlled here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
