#R1# Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Clothwell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #CL2# Johnson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Clothwell, pushing him back against the cage. Clothwell tries to break the clinch but Johnson is controlling the position. Clothwell looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Clothwell wants to get back to striking at distance but Johnson won't allow it.
Clothwell blocks an elbow strike from Johnson.
#BC2# Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Clothwell lands with a good body shot. Clothwell with a jab.#CUT# It looks like Joe Johnson has been cut. Clothwell takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.#TD2# Johnson feints and as Clothwell raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB2# Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Clothwell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Clothwell manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Clothwell's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Clothwell wants to get back to his feet but Johnson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. #T1##SUB2# Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Johnson lands a couple of digs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU2# Johnson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Clothwell stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Johnson. Clothwell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Johnson misses with a double jab.
Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss. Clothwell drops down looking for a counter takedown but Johnson sprawls and moves away. Johnson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
#TD2# Clothwell gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Johnson works a leg free and moves into half guard. #T2# Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Clothwell has hold of Johnson's hands but Johnson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Johnson drops an elbow to the side of Clothwell's head. Clothwell is breathing heavily. Johnson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Johnson works his way into full mount! #SUB2# Johnson is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Johnson!

#R1##TD2# Clothwell tries to sprawl but Hunt drives through with a takedown into half guard. Hunt content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Hunt passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Clothwell! Hunt controlling the pace for now. You get the feeling that Clothwell really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Hunt looking to control and managing it successfully. #SUB2# Hunt is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Hunt extends the arm and Clothwell is forced to tap!
