#R1##TD2# Graham gets caught flat footed, as Benavidez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Graham lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Benavidez is trying to keep Graham in close.
Graham trying to control the position from guard on top but Benavidez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Benavidez wants to sweep here but Graham controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Graham content to stall in guard here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Graham is looking to work some ground and pound but Benavidez has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Graham postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. #T1# Graham stopping the sweep attempt from Benavidez. Graham is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. #SUB# Graham drops back looking for a leg! Benavidez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Benavidez manages to kick Graham off! Graham jumps back into Benavidez's guard. Graham definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Benavidez is adopting a defensive guard. Graham landing with the ground and pound. Benavidez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Graham. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Graham throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Benavidez works some decent striking defense from the bottom. #T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Graham looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Graham forces his way into half guard. Graham missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Benavidez keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Graham throwing shots but Benavidez is blocking nicely. Benavidez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #T3# Graham working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Graham lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Graham seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Benavidez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. #SUB# Graham is trying to work for a kimura but Benavidez is defending well.
Benavidez trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Benavidez wants to hold on but Graham pushes him away.#T4# Benavidez is squirming around, avoiding Graham's attempts to control the action. Graham landing strikes from the mount.#SUB# Graham working for a guillotine from mount but Benavidez is in no mood to give up. Graham throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Benavidez can do anything to dispel that myth. Benavidez takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Graham wants to control the pace but Benavidez is squirming around nicely. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Benavidez is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Graham dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2##TD2# Benavidez shoots in and gets a takedown into Graham's guard. Graham is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Benavidez can do to turn this around?#SUB# Graham is looking to cinch up a triangle. Benavidez throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Graham's body to avoid the submission. Graham has instead reached around Benavidez's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Graham arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
