Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Thompson.
Jones drops down looking for a counter takedown but Thompson sprawls and moves away.

Thompson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Thompson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thompson off to one side.
Van Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Thompson.#KD#

Thompson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dimotroglu pulls Thompson in close to his closed guard and prevents Thompson from doing any damage or advancing position.

Thompson is rocked!
Dimotroglu stands up over Thompson, holding on to his feet. Dimotroglu throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Thompson is out cold! Dimotroglu lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
