#R1# Doo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Doo throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it. Johnson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Doo. Johnson throws a looping overhand right but Doo ducks down to avoid it. Johnson throws a jab but it's blocked by Doo. Doo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Doo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Johnson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Doo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Johnson. Doo misses with a body shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Doo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
#CUT2# It looks like Anthony Johnson has been cut. Johnson is breathing heavily. Doo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Johnson just stands there and leans against the cage. Barron has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Johnson after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Esteban Barron. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson is defending well against a takedown attempt.#TD# Barron pulls guard successfully.
Barron is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Barron throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Barron connects with a nice short shot to Johnson's temple.
