#R1# Forbes looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Umaga scores with a jab to the head.
Nice body punch from Umaga. Horrible takedown attempt by Forbes or perhaps it was just good defense by Umaga, which made it look bad. Umaga throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Forbes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Forbes takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Umaga lands with an uppercut that bounces Forbes off the cage and back into range. Umaga's jab looks to have found its range, popping Forbes under the eye. Forbes shoots in for a takedown but Umaga shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Umaga definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Iosefa Umaga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A decent looking cross lands there for Umaga.#CL# Umaga moves into the clinch. Forbes takes an elbow to the temple. #CUT# It looks like Grant Forbes has been cut. Umaga lands on the inside with an uppercut. Forbes looks winded! Umaga lands a body shot. Umaga lands a body punch. Umaga scores with a hook to the body.#T1# Forbes takes an elbow to the forehead. A right hook to the body lands for Umaga.

It's hard to tell if that hurt Forbes or not. Umaga creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Forbes's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Forbes drops to his knees and Umaga pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

#R1# Forbes with a lazy takedown attempt #TD# and Rivfader counters with a takedown into side control. Forbes is not in a great position here, taking some shots. #SUB# Rivfader is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Forbes knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. A lull in the action here as Rivfader stalls from top position. Forbes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. You can see the frustration on Forbes's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Forbes is looking for a sweep.#T1# Rivfader has knee on belly and moves into mount. Forbes tries to control the position but Rivfader now has his back.
Rivfader has good solid back control here. #SUB# Rivfader looking for the choke but no joy. Rivfader softening up his opponent with strikes here.

Forbes is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Rivfader.

Rivfader stuffs the takedown.#TD# Rivfader closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Forbes is looking to regain half guard here but Rivfader keeps moving and retains side control. Forbes is being controlled here. #SU# Rivfader decides to stand back up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Forbes. Forbes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #KD# and Rivfader counters with a nice right hand that sends Forbes toppling to the canvas! Forbes scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Rivfader finish him?!#CUT# It looks like Grant Forbes has been cut. Eirik Rivfader has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grant Forbes. Forbes is breathing heavily. Rivfader cracks Forbes's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Forbes slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Rivfader can do further damage! This one is done, son!

#R1##TD2# Forbes throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lester was covering up waiting for the punch and Forbes finishes the takedown easily into guard. Forbes engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #SUB2# Forbes is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lester is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lester has escaped and now he's on top! #REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Lester avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
#T1# Forbes working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lester. #SUB2# Lester got a little sloppy there for a moment and Forbes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lester has managed to get both his arms back between Forbes's legs - danger averted. Lester content to stall in guard here. Lester postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lester wants to control from the top but Forbes keeps moving. Lester postures up in Forbes's guard and throws a big left but Forbes blocks it. Lester throwing strikes but missing. Lester really is a fat lump. Forbes working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lester. Lester trying to control the position from guard on top but Forbes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #T3##REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.#TD2# Forbes shoots in and gets a takedown into Lester's guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Forbes working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Forbes trying to control but Lester is working from the bottom. Forbes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lester is keeping the position for now. Lester looking to hit a scissor sweep but Forbes is one step ahead there. Lester is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR##T4# Forbes is not content to let Lester control the position. Forbes gets full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lester accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Forbes is trying to control the position from the bottom.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Forbes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Forbes looking to sit in guard and control but Lester gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR##T1##SUB2# Lester is sitting in close to Forbes's body. Forbes has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Lester is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Lester is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Forbes.

Barry wants to control but Forbes is keeping busy and won't allow it. #SUB2# Forbes has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Barry defend it? Forbes steps over the head and cranks it - Barry is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Forbes!

#R1# Forbes is looking to clinch but Roach is avoiding it.
Forbes tries to clinch but Roach moves out of range. Roach fails with a takedown attempt. Roach is trying hard to land a takedown here. Forbes sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Forbes is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.#TD2# Forbes shoots in and bounces Roach off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Roach knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Forbes on the ground. Roach wants to sweep here but Forbes controlling him for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Forbes trying to stand up but can't free himself from Roach's guard. Roach being controlled here, momentarily. Roach could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#T1##SUB2# Forbes is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Roach is trying to keep Forbes in close.

Forbes remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Forbes tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Roach tries to buck Forbes off but Forbes is having none of it.#T3# The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Forbes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#SUB2# Forbes tries for a kimura but Roach is defending well. Forbes is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Roach's shoulder. That is not cool. #SUB2# Forbes is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Roach is trying to escape and Forbes transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Roach is forced to tap! Nice work there by Forbes! Very nice indeed!
