Hood tries to clinch but Lawton moves away
and Lawton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lawton lands a nice shot to the body.
Hood shoots in looking for a takedown. Lawton tries to sprawl out of it but Hood keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lawton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hood doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lawton counters with a three punch combo that has Hood backing up. Hood nods at Lawton to acknowledge the strikes.
Lawton lunges at Hood with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hood's hand.
Hood takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Lawton counters with a straight right hand.
Hood has his takedown stuffed

Penn is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Lawton screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

and Lawton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lawton ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Lawton scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

It looks like Alexander Diaz has been cut.
Diaz seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Lawton shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Diaz is backing up but Lawton catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Diaz covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Lawton Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
