#R1# Lapitskiy lands a nice leg kick that just misses Troumblet's sensitive parts. Lapitskiy blocks a jab. Lapitskiy wants to clinch. Troumblet displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lapitskiy. Lapitskiy misses with a takedown attempt - Troumblet sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.#CL# Troumblet rushes Lapitskiy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Lapitskiy goes for a takedown attempt but Troumblet pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nick Troumblet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eugene Lapitskiy.#TD# Troumblet feints and as Lapitskiy raises his hands in defense, Troumblet changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Troumblet throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lapitskiy works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Troumblet working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Troumblet landing with the ground and pound. #T1# Troumblet throwing strikes but missing. Troumblet content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. #ROC# Lapitskiy is rocked! Troumblet gets to his feet and stands over Lapitskiy, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Lapitskiy felt that one! Troumblet unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Lapitskiy from any more punishment!
