Nguyen has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mane regains guard immediately.
Nguyen looking to sit in guard and control but Mane gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB#
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ryan forces Mane back against the cage and clinches.#TD2#
Mane wants the takedown. Ryan is fighting it off but Mane persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ryan's guard against the cage.#SUB2#
Mane is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ryan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ryan has escaped and now he's on top! #REVR#
Mane pulls Ryan in to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
