#R1##CL# Nguyen moves into the clinch.#TD# Nguyen has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mane regains guard immediately. Nguyen looking to sit in guard and control but Mane gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB# A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nguyen looking to control.
Nguyen keeping full guard, as Mane tries to pass. #SUB# Nguyen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mane is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Nguyen.#SUB2# Mane is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nguyen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Nguyen is trying to improve his position.#T1##SUB2# Mane working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Mane tries to score with some ground and pound. Nguyen controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Nguyen on the wrong end of some ground and pound. #SUB2# Mane thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. #SUB2# Mane is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nguyen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. #SUB2# Mane looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. #T2# Nguyen tries to get back to half guard but can't.#SUB2# Mane is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Nguyen is trying to escape and Mane transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Nguyen is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mane! Very nice indeed!

#R1##CL# Ryan forces Mane back against the cage and clinches.#TD2# Mane wants the takedown. Ryan is fighting it off but Mane persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ryan's guard against the cage.#SUB2# Mane is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ryan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ryan has escaped and now he's on top! #REVR# Mane pulls Ryan in to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mane pulls Ryan in to control the position. #T1# There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mane is on top in guard.
#REVB# Mane controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ryan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#SUB# Ryan is looking for a triangle here but Mane uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
#SUB2# Mane has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ryan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mane yanks on the arm and Ryan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mane.
