#R1# Cormien fails with a takedown attempt. Xu let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cormien. Cormien fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Cormien. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cormien. Xu connects with a body shot that sends Cormien's belly button to the back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Xu lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Nice takedown defense from Xu. No joy for Cormien on that attempt. Cormien fails to land the takedown. Xu is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Cormien with a body shot.#T1##KD2# Xu drops Cormien with a beautiful combination! Cormien stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Xu is looking for the KO!#CUT2# It looks like Daniel Cormien has been cut. Cormien has his takedown stuffed and Xu counters with a one-two to the body. Daniel Cormien seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cormien is breathing heavily. Xu feints a jab promting Cormien to slip. Xu then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cormien slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Cormien misses with a takedown and Xu counters with a nice body shot. Cormien looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Xu is fending him off so far but Cormien persists. Nope, Xu circles away and we're back to standing. Xu throws a shot to the body.

Xu is working the combinations to good effect here. Nice takedown defense from Xu. No joy for Cormien on that attempt. #KD2# Xu lands a left and a right that send Cormien crashing to the mat, dazed. Xu thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#T2# Xu digs a good body shot into Cormien's ribs. Cormien backs away from a small jab... but Xu lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Cormien crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Xu with a spectacular finish!

#R1# Mie scores with a punch to the head. Mie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cormien walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.#TD# Cormien drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Mie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cormien. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Cormien drops back looking for a leg! Mie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mie manages to kick Cormien off! Cormien jumps back into Mie's guard. Mie controls Cormien momentarily but Cormien frees himself. #SUB# Cormien is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #SUB# Cormien drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cormien jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cormien passes Mie's right leg, so he's now in half guard. #SUB# Cormien maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Mie could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Cormien has cracked it and Mie is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Cormien!
