Aldo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Schweibert avoids it really well and circles away.
Aldo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Schweibert as he avoids it easily.
Schweibert tries to counter with a clinch but Aldo shakes him off and moves away.
Aldo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Aldo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Aldo dives in and grabs Schweibert's left leg, looking for a takedown. Schweibert pushes down on Aldo's head and hops out.

Schweibert has hold of Aldo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Aldo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Schweibert is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Aldo can't fight it off and eventually Schweibert manages to take the fight to the floor. Aldo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.#SUB#
Aldo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Schweibert should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Aldo has tightened it up now! Schweibert should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Johnson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schweibert looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
