#R1# Aldo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Schweibert avoids it really well and circles away. Aldo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Schweibert as he avoids it easily. Schweibert tries to counter with a clinch but Aldo shakes him off and moves away. Aldo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Aldo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schweibert swinging wildly here.
Aldo fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Aldo dives in and grabs Schweibert's left leg, looking for a takedown. Schweibert pushes down on Aldo's head and hops out. Schweibert is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Schweibert leaves Aldo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.#CL2# Schweibert moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aldo can't get the takedown.

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Schweibert manages to end up in side control. Schweibert works to advance to full mount. Aldo defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Schweibert controlling from the full mount. Schweibert lands a heavy elbow. Schweibert sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Schweibert scoring with strikes but Aldo is staying in there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schweibert prevents Aldo from getting the reversal.#T2# Schweibert landing punches. This has been an exciting period of action! Schweibert putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Schweibert controlling the position easily from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schweibert lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Aldo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Aldo tries to reverse the position but Schweibert maintains control. Schweibert can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Aldo is looking to escape. Schweibert controlling the pace for now. #T4# Schweibert tries to control but Aldo wriggling away. Schweibert putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Aldo slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Schweibert passes to side control. Aldo seems a little lost for a moment, as Schweibert dominates the positioning. Schweibert advances nicely into full mount. Schweibert lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Aldo tries to reverse the position but Schweibert maintains control. Schweibert controlling his opponent. Schweibert lands a heavy elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aaron Schweibert dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2##CL2# Schweibert gets a clinch. Schweibert is defending well against a takedown attempt. Aldo avoiding damage as Schweibert throws knees to the body.
#TD2# Schweibert is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Aldo can't fight it off and eventually Schweibert manages to take the fight to the floor. Aldo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.#SUB# Aldo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Schweibert should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Aldo has tightened it up now! Schweibert should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

#R1# Johnson fails with a takedown attempt.#TD# Johnson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schweibert looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Johnson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schweibert manages to work his way to half guard, despite Johnson's best efforts. Schweibert wants to get back to full guard.#SUB# Johnson is working for a submission of some sort.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Schweibert doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position.
