#R1# A head kick misses from McGregy. #CL2# McGregy clinches up with Ortiz and pushes him back against the cage. A right handed body shot lands from McGregy.
Ortiz wants to break the clinch but can't.
McGregy stalls. #TD2# McGregy drags the fight down to the ground.
#SUB2# McGregy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ortiz defends well. McGregy lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGregy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ortiz works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ortiz keeping moving, preventing McGregy from controlling successfully. Ortiz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#T1# Ortiz has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but McGregy has passed into side control.
Ortiz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McGregy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. You can see the frustration on Ortiz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ortiz tries to bench press McGregy off him but McGregy keeps the position. Ortiz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ortiz is pushing McGregy's head away, looking to escape. McGregy manages to hold on to the position though. Ortiz is not content to let McGregy control the position. #T2# McGregy working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. A lull in the action here.#SU2# McGregy stands up and we're back to a striking position. #TD2# McGregy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ortiz napping and manages to drive through into side control! McGregy tries to score with some ground and pound. Ortiz controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SU2# McGregy stands up and beckons Ortiz to his feet. #T3##TD2# McGregy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Ortiz is looking to regain half guard here but McGregy keeps moving and retains side control. McGregy scores with punches from side control. McGregy working the ground and pound.#SU2# McGregy decides to take the fight back to the feet. McGregy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. #CL2# McGregy has taken the fight to the clinch.
#TD2# McGregy successfully pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ortiz lands a couple of elbows.#T4# Ortiz lands a couple of digs.#SUB2# McGregy pushes a forearm under Ortiz's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ortiz is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
