#R1# Turner with a lazy takedown attempt and Dundee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Dundee seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Dundee pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Turner back to the cage. Dundee follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Dundee lands a jab. Dundee lands a nice hook to Turner's body. Turner takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Dundee throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Turner on the side of the head. Turner shoots for a double leg takedown but Dundee sprawls well. He's pushed Turner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dundee throws a hook but Turner avoids it easily. Turner drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dundee defends it well. Turner darts in trying to clinch and Dundee counters with a straight right hand. Jab, jab by Dundee - just one landing. Turner's coach down at Tycoon Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Turner's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. This has been an exciting period of action! Turner closes the distance and clinches up with Dundee, looking for a takedown. Turner pushes Dundee against the cage but Dundee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mister Dundee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pat Turner.#T1# Turner avoids a lazy jab quite easily.#KD# Dundee moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Turner goes down! Can Dundee finish him!?#ROC# Turner is rocked! Dundee wants to stand but Turner has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Turner is still in real trouble! Can Dundee finish him? Turner is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Turner seems to have recovered his senses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dundee trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dundee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Turner on the ground.#SUB2# Turner has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Dundee doesn't defend quickly enough and Turner has managed to lock this one up! Can Dundee escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Turner on a fantastic submission victory.

Yamaguchi tries to close the distance and clinch but Dundee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #CL2# Yamaguchi has managed to clinch.

Dundee throws a punch but it's blocked by Yamaguchi. Dundee swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Yamaguchi misses with a hook from the clinch. Dundee is struggling to control the position. Yamaguchi struggles to land a body shot inside as Dundee controls his hands.

Daiki Yamaguchi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yamaguchi looks to clinch and Dundee counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Yamaguchi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dundee paws at him with a jab and circles away. As Yamaguchi looks to move away, Dundee throws a big counter combo but Yamaguchi just gets out of the way. Yamaguchi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Yamaguchi throws a hook but Dundee avoids it easily. Dundee lands a glancing blow to the side of Yamaguchi's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dundee cracks Yamaguchi with an open hand slap. Yamaguchi misses the shot to the body. Dundee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Yamaguchi.

and Yamaguchi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Yamaguchi feints a jab promting Dundee to slip. Yamaguchi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dundee slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Dundee uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Yamaguchi has time to react. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Daiki Yamaguchi will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mister Dundee's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# Yamaguchi avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Yamaguchi dodges the punch combination from Dundee.

The cornerman is going to be in Dundee's bad books for that mishap!

#R1# Dundee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dundee wants it to stay on the feet. Dundee scores with a nice strike. Nice takedown defense from Dundee. No joy for Belfort on that attempt. Belfort looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Belfort. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Belfort is defended easily by Dundee. Belfort needs to keep his hands up - Dundee had a free shot at his head there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belfort fails with a takedown attempt. Belfort gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dundee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#T1# Belfort with a poor takedown and Dundee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Belfort throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dundee's waist but Dundee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Belfort off to one side. Mister Dundee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No luck with that takedown attempt from Belfort. Belfort is breathing heavily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Belfort is defended easily by Dundee. Dundee swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Belfort closes the distance and clinches up with Dundee, looking for a takedown. Belfort pushes Dundee against the cage but Dundee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dundee lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Belfort at a distance.
Belfort drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Belfort on the wrong end of a nice hook. Good shot there by Dundee. Dundee's jab looks to have found its range, popping Belfort under the eye. Belfort with a poor takedown and Dundee counters with a lovely shot to the body.#T2# The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dundee works Belfort's body with a nice hook. Dundee is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Belfort had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Belfort misses with a takedown and Dundee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Belfort shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dundee counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Dundee connects with a single shot there. Dundee feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Belforts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Dundee digs a good body shot into Belfort's ribs. Dundee throws a good cross that connects.
Dundee lands a glancing blow to the side of Belfort's head. Belfort takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A jab from Dundee does it's job there. Belfort shoots and misses and Dundee counters with a straight right hand.#TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Dundee enables Belfort to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dundee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#T3# Belfort pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dundee is keeping the position for now. Belfort is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. #SUB# Belfort thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Dundee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belfort. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Belfort won't allow Dundee to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Belfort works over Dundee with some ground and pound from guard. Belfort lands a couple of decent looking shots. Dundee is trying to keep Belfort in close.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Belfort jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #SUB2# Dundee is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dundee should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Belfort with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.#SUB# Belfort drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Belfort as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Dundee screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Belfort! Nice submission victory there!
