#R1# Romero shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Phung but Phung pushes him off and we're back to square one. Romero tries for a takedown but Phung sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.#CL2# Phung gets a clinch. #TD2# Phung jumps guard and drags Romero to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Phung is controlling Romero's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Phung is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phung looking to hit a scissor sweep but Romero is one step ahead there. Phung working a defensive guard here.
#T1# Phung might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Romero haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.#SUB2# Romero got a little sloppy there for a moment and Phung has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Romero has managed to get both his arms back between Phung's legs - danger averted. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Phung can do anything to dispel that myth. Phung is wriggling around but Romero manages to pass to half guard.
#SUB2# Phung with the active half guard here but Romero passes nicely into side control. Phung is trying to control Romero's posture but Romero avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Romero slows the pace down. Phung tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Romero will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Romero controlling well, preventing Phung from escaping the position.
Romero is riding his opponent, not letting Phung buck him off. #T3# Romero is hanging on to Phung's back as he tries to escape.
Phung has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Romero. Romero has the hooks in. Phung is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Romero's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Romero lands a shot to the head. Phung tries to escape but Romero has the hooks in and won't let him break free. #T4# Phung is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Romero has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Phung's body.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Phung trying to control the position but Romero manages to sink in the hooks. Romero thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Phung is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Romero.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leif Romero dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2# Romero tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Phung swivels and escapes.#CL2# Phung rushes Romero and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Romero really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#TD# Romero pulls Phung into guard.
Romero is looking to stand up but Phung isn't so interested in that idea. Phung trying to control but Romero is working from the bottom. Phung slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Phung shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Romero counters with a left and a right that stings Phung. #T3# Phung changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Romero tries to avoid it but Phung manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Romero to the ground. Romero escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Leif Romero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Phung. Phung is breathing heavily.#CL2# Phung drives through and clinches with Romero against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Phung's face as he tries to break the clinch. Romero makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Romero tries to pull guard but Phung holds him up against the cage and eventually Romero drops back down to his feet.

#TD# Romero has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Phung uses from the top position. #T4# Romero keeping moving, preventing Phung from controlling successfully. Phung wants to get up but he can't break Romero's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Romero looking to control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Phung accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Romero is looking to stand up but Phung isn't so interested in that idea. He's got hold of a leg but Romero swivels and escapes. Leif Romero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Phung. Phung is trying hard to land a takedown here. Romero sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Phung takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.#CL2# Phung moves into the clinch. Phung fails to pull guard.
Phung is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Romero is defending well for now.#BC# Romero pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Romero leaves Phung with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Romero tries to counter by clinching up but Phung breaks away and moves out of range. Romero closes the distance and clinches up with Phung, looking for a takedown. Romero pushes Phung against the cage but Phung circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lee Phung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#T4# Phung fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Romero is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Phung.#CL2# Phung instigates a clinch. #BC# Romero breaks the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! Lee Phung comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Romero has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
