We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roberts leaves Buchanan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Roberts looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.#T1# Buchanan throws a combination that misses #TD2# and Roberts counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Roberts content to control rather than advance. Buchanan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Roberts. #T2# Buchanan trying to hold on to Roberts's head to control him but Roberts postures up.
Roberts works his way into side control. Buchanan takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Buchanan is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Roberts is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Roberts controlling his opponent. Roberts throws a wild left hand from mount and Buchanan manages to wriggle his way back to half guard. #T3# Buchanan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Roberts stalling. Roberts tries to pass the half guard into mount. Buchanan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. #T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Roberts is taking a breather. Buchanan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Buchanan tries to kick Roberts off but Roberts keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Roberts. Buchanan tries a head kick but it misses.

The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2# Buchanan moves to clinch but Roberts breaks away #TD2# and Roberts decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Buchanan's guard. Roberts with a nice head shot there. Roberts not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buchanan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Roberts engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Buchanan misses with a takedown and Roberts makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.#TD2# Roberts looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Roberts is controlling the pace.

Let's hope that Roberts has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T4# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Buchanan wants to get back to full guard but Roberts has mounted him! Roberts controlling his opponent. Roberts lands a heavy elbow. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Roberts takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Roberts showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! #R3##CL2# Roberts drives through and clinches with Buchanan against the cage.

#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Roberts controlling the pace for now. Roberts is continuing to stall. Ivan Buchanan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Max Roberts is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The adventures of Roberts the control monster continue. Boring.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Roberts comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Roberts has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. #R1# Buchanan tries to clinch and Klim counters with a three punch combo that has Buchanan backing up. Buchanan nods at Klim to acknowledge the strikes. Klim tries a head kick but it misses.
#CL# Buchanan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Klim, pushing him back against the cage. Klim dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.#TD# Buchanan has clasped his hands together around Klim's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Buchanan working the ground and pound from side control. Buchanan throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Buchanan working the body and head with strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Buchanan working the ground and pound from side control. Buchanan throws a strike aimed at the side of Klim's head but Klim avoids it well. Buchanan misses with an attempted head punch from side control. #T1# Buchanan throws an elbow but Klim slips to the side and avoids it well. Klim is looking for a sweep. Buchanan creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Klim sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Klim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Buchanan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Klim is trying to improve his position.#T2# Buchanan lands a nice forearm strike. Klim takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Buchanan throwing strikes but Klim manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! We've been informed that Klim has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Klim is working Buchanan over with some ground and pound from side control. Klim wants to control but Buchanan is keeping him busy. Klim is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Buchanan's shoulder. That is not cool. Buchanan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Klim paws at him with a jab and circles away. Klim let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Ivan Buchanan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Buchanan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Klim avoids it really well and circles away. #T1##BC2# Klim breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Klim cracks Buchanan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Ivan Buchanan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Klim swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
#TD# Buchanan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Klim's guard. Klim trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Klim looking to hit a scissor sweep but Buchanan is one step ahead there. Klim manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Buchanan manages to get himself to full guard.

Buchanan lands a couple of elbows. Klim looking for a sweep. Not yet Klim, not yet. Klim avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Buchanan throws a big elbow that misses. Buchanan works over Klim with some ground and pound from guard. Buchanan lands a couple of elbows.#ES2# Klim kicks Buchanan off and gets to his feet. Buchanan scores with a head kick.

That sent Buchanan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Buchanan blocks a low kick nicely. Buchanan is looking to clinch. Klim swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Buchanan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Klim moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Klim avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Left hook, right uppercut from Buchanan. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Klim dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Buchanan shoots in looking for a takedown but Klim manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buchanan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Buchanan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Buchanan fails with an attempt to clinch.

Buchanan is refusing to be controlled, as Klim sits in half guard. Buchanan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Klim is working away from the top position though. Buchanan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Klim throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. #T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Klim sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Buchanan defending well though. Klim landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Klim is trying to control. Buchanan takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Klim trying to control but Buchanan is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buchanan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Jefferson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Nice body punch from Jefferson. Jefferson lands with a short head shot on the inside. Good body shot from Jefferson.
