#R1# The fight stays on the outside here - Hunt looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hunt fails in his attempt to clinch. Darko tries to move into range but Hunt moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Hunt gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hunt with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Darko to score with a decent uppercut. Donk. Darko catches Hunt right on the button with a cross. Hunt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Darko. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Darko, as that shot connected.
#TD# Hunt gets caught flat footed, as Darko shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hunt wants to get back to his feet but Darko is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Darko throws a big elbow that misses. Darko working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Darko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Darko is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Trujillo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Trujillo tries to free his leg and advance position but Darko is retaining full guard. Trujillo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Darko's guard. Darko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Trujillo is working away from the top position though. Darko looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Darko doesn't succeed with the takedown and Stalin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Darko looks to land a right hand but Stalin moved out of range. An attempted straight right counter from Stalin misses the target. Stalin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Darko finds it's way round the side to connect with Stalin's head. Darko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stalin sees it coming and avoids it easily. Stalin tries to clinch there but Darko circles away.

Darko looks up at the clock and then as Valens takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Darko smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

No damage this time. Darko seems keen to control Nerlinger's posture. Nerlinger is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Darko drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Darko throws a looping overhand right but Hanzo ducks down to avoid it. Kauri's coaches at have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. You can see the frustration on Kauri's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Darko misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Darko with the ground and pound but Kauri regains half guard under the barage of strikes. #R1# Darko shoots for a double leg takedown but Da Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Darko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Darko misses with a takedown attempt - Da Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Darko is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Da Silva to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erick Darko. That's going to take a lot out of him. A right hand to the body from Da Silva.

#R1# Darko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Darko avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Prayton stuffs the takedown attempt from Darko. Darko gets slowly back to his feet. Prayton looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Prayton thows a left - swing and a miss! Darko moves out of range of the strikes. Darko darts in looking for a takedown but Prayton gets double underhooks and turns Darko into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erick Darko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Darko keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Prayton. Darko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Darko is trying hard to land a takedown here. Prayton sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A close round but Layton Prayton will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Prayton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Darko is one step ahead there. Erick Darko overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Darko postures up.

Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Prayton. #SUB# Darko is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Prayton has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Prayton! #SUB# Darko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Prayton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Darko keeping moving, preventing Prayton from controlling successfully. #T2# Darko trying to keep a closed guard but Prayton is proving a slippery customer.

He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Prayton rolls with it to try and escape but Darko cranks on the arm and Prayton is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

#R1# Mac throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Darko shoots in for a takedown but Mac shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.#TD# Darko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mac to the mat! Mac manages to get full guard. Darko wants to control from the top but Mac keeps moving. #SUB# Darko drops back looking for a leg! Mac is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mac manages to kick Darko off! Darko jumps back into Mac's guard. #SUB# Darko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Darko engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.#T1# Mac keeping moving, preventing Darko from controlling successfully. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Darko tries to free his leg and advance position but Mac is retaining full guard. Darko pushes down on Mac's leg and manages to get into half guard.#T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mac is refusing to be controlled, as Darko sits in half guard. Mac really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Darko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Darko is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Darko tries to pass to full mount but Mac defends it. Darko takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.#SUB# Darko is working for a kimura but Mac is defending it quite comfortably.
