Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Chip Freedom and Wrestling Coach. Freedom comes to the cage accompanied by Star Spangled Banner. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 2 losses; Chip Freedom! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Wrestling Coach! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Freedom darts in and clinches Coach up against the cage. Coach drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Freedom gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Freedom gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Freedom (2) vs (0) Coach Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Freedom in particular looking to stall. Freedom maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Coach could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Freedom has cracked it and Coach is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Freedom!

#R1# Coach drops his hands momentarily and Jackson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. #TD# Coach shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Coach was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sloppy strikes there by Coach. Jackson pushes Coach away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Coach gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Coach in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coach works to advance to full mount. Jackson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Coach lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Coach throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Coach throws some wild stikes that Jackson manages to avoid easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Coach with good strikes from the mount here! Coach landing punches. Coach throwing strikes here but Jackson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Jackson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Coach with good strikes from the mount here! Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coach. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jackson blocking the ground and pound. Coach cracks Jackson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The ref calls for Jackson to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
