#R1##TD2# Wu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Gardner sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Wu is keen to just control but Gardner is a slippery customer. Gardner is looking to improve his position.
Gardner keeps control of the position for the meantime. Gardner slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Wu tries to free his leg and advance position but Gardner is retaining full guard. Wu is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wu stopping the sweep attempt from Gardner. Wu wants to pass the guard but Gardner is keeping the position. Wu wants to control from the top but Gardner keeps moving. That was a close round but I would say that Franklin Gardner will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2##TD2# Gardner gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wu to score an easy takedown into full guard. #R1##TD2# Curry gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wu to score an easy takedown into full guard. Curry working a defensive guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wu trying to control the position from guard on top but Curry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wu passes Curry's left leg - he's now in half guard. Curry is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wu is looking to advance position but Curry won't allow it. Wu not doing much here.
#T1# Curry makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Curry. Wu trying to control the position from guard on top but Curry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wu stays in close to Curry's body and controls the position. Wu trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wu trying to control but Curry is working from the bottom. Curry tries to land a sweep but no joy. Curry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wu stays in close to Curry's body and controls the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.#T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Curry keeping moving, preventing Wu from controlling successfully. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Wu throws a leg kick but Curry sees it coming and checks it nicely. Horrible takedown attempt by Wu or perhaps it was just good defense by Curry, which made it look bad. Wu misses with a double jab.

Ching Lai Wu dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2# Curry stuffs the takedown attempt from Wu. Wu gets slowly back to his feet. Curry is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Wu. Wu is trying hard to land a takedown here. Curry sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Curry displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wu throws out the jab. Curry misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

A close second round but Ching Lai Wu will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! #R3# Wu is trying hard to land a takedown here. Curry sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Curry tries to bum rush Wu with a series of wild strikes but Wu uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wu has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wu shoots in for a double leg but Curry sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. An attempted straight right counter from Curry misses the target. No luck for Wu with that takedown attempt. Curry appears to be looking for a big counter. Federico Curry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ching Lai Wu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Wu closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Curry lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #T4# Nice strikes from Curry there. Wu is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Curry scores with a couple of nice shots. Curry landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Curry thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wu's head. Wu is trying to get back to full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Curry not landing any meaningful shots this time. Federico Curry has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ching Lai Wu is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
