#R1# A telegraphed right hand from Davis misses the target. Davis throws a jab when Jayson was well out of range.#CL# Jayson moves into the clinch successfully.
A left hand lands to the body for Davis.
Jayson can't get the takedown.
Davis is pressed up against the cage. Jayson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Davis down to the mat. Davis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Jayson with a lazy takedown attempt and Davis counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Jayson. That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL# Davis tries to keep at a distance but Jayson has taken the fight into the clinch.#BC# Jayson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jayson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Jayson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jayson on the side of the head. #CL# Jayson takes the fight into the clinch. #BC# Jayson manages to break the clinch.
Jayson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
#ROC2# Jayson is rocked!#T1# Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Davis engages and cracks Jayson with a massive lead left hook - Jayson tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Davis is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
