#R1##CL# Juarez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Acid looks winded! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Juarez takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. #TD# Juarez has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Acid uses from the top position. Juarez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Juarez holds on and takes a little breather. Juarez keeping full guard, as Acid tries to pass. Juarez with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Acid can't handle though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Juarez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Juarez is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. #T1# Acid won't allow Juarez to sweep him here. #SUB# Juarez is looking for a triangle but Acid pushes his legs off easily.
Juarez is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Juarez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#SUB# Juarez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Acid should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Juarez has tightened it up now! Acid should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Eugenio Juarez!

Acid takes a step backwards and waves Simon back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC2# Simon is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Eldridge Simon has been cut. Acid stuns Simon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Oh Simon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Simon is breathing heavily. Acid seems to be stalking Simon here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! Simon drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!?
