#TD2# Ledford has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Trout clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Will Ledford go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Ledford missing with strikes from the back. #SUB2# Ledford looking for the choke but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Trout's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

What can Trout do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Ledford is striking well from the back but Trout escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Trout is trying desperately to improve position. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ledford working his ground and pound in the gym. Trout taking shots to the head. Ledford throws some wild stikes that Trout manages to avoid easily.

Ledford can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Trout is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Ledford with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

#R1##TD# Gagagin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Trout to the mat! Trout manages to get full guard. Trout not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gagagin wants to get up but he can't break Trout's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Gagagin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Gagagin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gagagin wants to stand but Trout has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Gagagin tries to free his leg and advance position but Trout is retaining full guard. Gagagin is working hard here to advance position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gagagin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trout trying to keep a closed guard but Gagagin is proving a slippery customer.
#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Trout misses with an uppercut. Horrible takedown attempt by Gagagin or perhaps it was just good defense by Trout, which made it look bad. #T1##TD# Gagagin feints and as Trout raises his hands in defense, Gagagin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Gagagin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Trout works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gagagin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. Gagagin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Trout is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Trout stands and throws Gagagin's legs to the side, diving into side control. Gagagin is not content to let Trout control the position. #SUB2# Trout tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. #SUB2# Trout in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Gagagin is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

#R1# Trout throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Macdonah on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. The fighters circling - Trout throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Trout throws a right and a left that both miss. Macdonah lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Trout ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Macdonah moves away. Macdonah drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Trout right on the button. Trout goes down! Macdonah follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Macdonah gets the win via TKO!

#R1##TD# Evans throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Trout tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Evans is in Trout's guard. Evans might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Evans is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Evans tries to free his leg and advance position but Trout is retaining full guard. Evans sitting in guard here, content to control. Evans is looking to pass into half guard but Trout pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Trout is in guard.#REVB# Trout trying to control the position from guard on top but Evans is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Trout looking to pass the guard. #SUB2# Trout drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Evans dives on top into guard.#REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trout can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Evans controls the pace. Trout looking to hit a scissor sweep but Evans is one step ahead there. #T1# Evans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Trout swivels though and keeps the full guard. Evans showing good wrestling skills to control the position. #SUB# Evans drops back looking for a leg! Trout is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Trout manages to kick Evans off! Evans jumps back into Trout's guard. Trout trying to keep a closed guard but Evans is proving a slippery customer.
#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Evans looking to pass the guard. Trout being controlled here, momentarily. Trout is trying to control the position but Evans postures up. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Trout wants to sweep here but Evans controlling him for the moment. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Trout tries to reverse the position but Evans maintains control. Evans breaks from Trout's wrist control and lands an elbow. Trout is squirming around, avoiding Evans's attempts to control the action. Evans prevents Trout from getting the reversal.#SUB# Evans is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Trout has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Trout! #T4# Evans keeping moving, preventing Trout from controlling successfully. Trout looking to sit in guard and control but Evans gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Evans trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Evans is breathing heavily. Evans engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Trout controls Evans momentarily but Evans frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Let's see what he can do from the top position. Trout can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Evans controls the pace. Evans works a leg free and moves into half guard. Still in half guard, Evans seems content to control. Evans seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Trout for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trout is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Trout controls Evans momentarily but Evans frees himself. Thomas Evans overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. #T3# Trout clobbers Evans with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Evans takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Trout keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Trout prevents Evans from improving position. Sam Trout showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! #R3# Trout lands a body shot.

Jab by Trout. Evans walks into a jab. A punch lands to the side of Evans 's head but he takes it in his stride. Sam Trout seems to be getting the better of the standup.#TD# Evans throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Trout was covering up waiting for the punch and Evans finishes the takedown easily into guard. Evans tries to free his leg and advance position but Trout is retaining full guard. Trout is trying to control the position but Evans postures up. #T1##SUB2# Trout has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Evans should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Trout has tightened it up now! Evans should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
