Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Brij Khali and Mr Grapple. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 3 losses; Brij Khali! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Mr Grapple! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Grapple closes the distance and clinches. Grapple gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Khali (0) vs (2) Grapple Grapple is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Khali still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Khali has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Khali (4) vs (2) Grapple Khali is staying tight to Grapple's torso, preventing him from escaping. Grapple looks to move to half guard but instead Khali has passed into mount! Damn! Score +2 for reaching mount: Khali (6) vs (2) Grapple We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khali looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grapple is wriggling around trying to escape.
Khali controlling the position easily from mount. Grapple is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Grapple really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Khali is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Grapple has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Khali is working away from the top position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Khali seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Grapple for as long as he can get away with. Grapple is trying to control but can't.

Grapple is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grapple is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Khali controlling the action here. Grapple tries to roll over but Khali keeps him under control. Khali looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Grapple looking for submissions off his back.

That's eight minutes gone in the round. Grapple is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Khali takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

That's ten minutes gone in the round. Grapple is looking for a sweep. Khali is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are battling for position here. Grapple manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Khali pushing down on Grapple's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Grapple wants to get back to full guard. Grapple is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Khali's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Khali's back! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Khali (6) vs (6) Grapple Grapple is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Khali defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Grapple looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Khali is controlling Grapple 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard. Khali doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Khali manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Khali pushes down on Grapple's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Grapple is trying to control but can't.
Grapple wants to improve his position but Khali is controlling well.

That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Grapple is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Khali pulls his head out easily. Khali controlling the action here. Grapple is trying to maintain the position but Khali is very close to passing his half guard. Grapple wants to get back to full guard.
That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Khali controlling the pace. Grapple tries to get to full guard but Khali has control of the leg. Grapple is still trying to improve position. Grapple is looking to control Khali's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Grapple avoid being mounted? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Connor McClosky and Mr Grapple. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Connor McClosky! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Mr Grapple! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? McClosky scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: McClosky (4) vs (0) Grapple Grapple sneaks back into half guard. Grapple has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McClosky is working away from the top position though. Grapple actively working from the bottom here. McClosky seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Grapple does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. McClosky is working for a kimura here but Grapple manages to reverse the position and he's now in McClosky's guard.

Grapple content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Let's hope that Grapple has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

He has the arm isolated but McClosky is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. McClosky is looking for a sweep. Grapple is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McClosky has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Grapple trying to control the action but McClosky is working from the bottom. Grapple working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. McClosky manages to get back to half guard.

Grapple has control of McClosky's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and McClosky regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grapple is hanging on to McClosky's back as he tries to escape.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Grapple is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Mr Grapple and Raphael Swanson . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Mr Grapple! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Raphael Swanson ! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Swanson tries to keep at a distance but Grapple has taken the fight into the clinch. Grapple has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Swanson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Grapple drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Swanson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Grapple tries to pull guard but Swanson won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Grapple. That's going to take a lot out of him. Swanson pulls Grapple into guard.
Swanson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Grapple trying to control but Swanson is working from the bottom. Grapple looking to sit in guard and control but Swanson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
