Riggs dives in and grabs Porter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Porter pushes down on Riggs's head and hops out.#CL2#
Porter takes the fight into the clinch. #TD2#
Porter jumps guard and drags Riggs to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Riggs chips away with some ground and pound.
Porter throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Riggs gets to his feet and stands over Porter, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Porter felt that one! Riggs unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Porter from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Riggs!

That kick from Porter tenderised Sable's leg. Sable is trying to keep his angry face on.
Porter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sable with the counter takedown but Porter avoids it easily.

Sable gets in close and instigates a clinch. #BC2#
Sable breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sable tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Porter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sable looks to throw a body kick
and Porter counters with a left to the body.
Sable tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. #CL2#
Sable clinches up with Porter and pushes him back against the cage.
Sable using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Porter has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Porter dodges an elbow strike from Sable.
Sable tries for a takedown. No joy.
Sable unloads a knee to the mid-section. Porter lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. #BC#
Porter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Riley Porter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Porter's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
