#R1##CL2# Olson rushes Hazard and presses him up against the cage. Olson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hazard is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hazard prevents the takedown attempt.
Hazard working some nice short punches in the clinch. Olson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hazard has him pressed against the cage.#TD2# Olson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. #ES2# Olson manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Hazard drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Olson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Hazard goes for a takedown in the clinch but Olson prevents it.

Olson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Olson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Olson throws a nice looking combination but Hazard bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Will Olson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hazard fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Olson avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Badr Hazard. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hazard shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Olson throws a right hand that Hazard ducks under and follows up with a left that Hazard also avoids with ease. Olson swats away the attempt to clinch by Hazard. Hazard keeps control of Olson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Olson is trying to force a seperation but Hazard has the dominant position. Olson tries to pull guard but Hazard won't allow it.

#T3##TD# Hazard is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Olson can't fight it off and eventually Hazard manages to take the fight to the floor. Olson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hazard slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Olson is trying to buck Hazard off. Olson tries to bench press Hazard off him but Hazard keeps the position. #T4# Hazard throws an elbow but Olson slips to the side and avoids it well.#SUB# Hazard working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Olson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Olson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Hazard tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Olson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hazard has just dragged him back down to the mat. Hazard misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Olson pushes Hazard away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hazard gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2# Hazard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Olson tries to avoid it but Hazard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Olson to the ground. Olson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hazard fails with a takedown attempt. Olson misses with a wild combination.
Hazard is looking to counter the offense by Olson and move into the clinch. Olson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hazard eats them both and turns towards Olson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#CUT2# It looks like Badr Hazard has been cut. Hazard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Olson's waist but Olson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hazard off to one side. Hazard jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Olson walks away with a smile on his face. Hazard gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #T1# Olson looks to land a combination. Hazard sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Olson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hazard eats them both and turns towards Olson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#CL2# Hazard tries to keep at a distance but Olson has taken the fight into the clinch. Hazard is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hazard jumps guard but Olson stands there with Hazard around his waist. Hazard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Olson stalks Hazard and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hazard's face. Hazard staggers backwards, shaken. Olson misses with a combination
and Hazard counters with a head kick. #TD# Olson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hazard to score an easy takedown into full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hazard not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. #ES2# Olson kicks Hazard off and gets to his feet. #T3# Olson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Olson wants it to stay on the feet. Hazard takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Olson lands with a right hand. Hazard looks for a takedown but Olson sprawls well. Olson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Olson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! Will Olson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Olson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
