Richards has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Richards there as he acknowledges the shot. Sambor is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.#CUT# It looks like Ben Richards has been cut. Sambor lands a lovely overhand right. Sambor scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Sambor fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Richards fails with the takedown and Sambor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sambor throws out a powerful jab.#ROC# Richards is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sambor fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Richards out cold! Brutal finish!

Franco shoots and misses #TD2# and Richards counters with a single leg into guard. Franco didn't expect that. Richards wants to control from the top but Franco keeps moving. Franco wants to stand but Richards is controlling the position. Richards chips away with some ground and pound. Franco definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Richards's corner is telling him to maintain position. Franco looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Richards scoring with punches to the head and body. Franco is looking to stand up but Richards isn't so interested in that idea. Richards trying to control but Franco is working from the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Richards lands a decent elbow from side control. Richards works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Drakov struggling a bit here. Drakov taking a bit of punishment here - Richards scoring with strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drakov looking for a sweep but Richards has passed into full mount! Oh no! Drakov is looking to improve his position but Richards isn't that keen on the idea. #R1##TD2# Richards throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Korhonen was covering up waiting for the punch and Richards finishes the takedown easily into guard. Richards controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Richards throwing strikes but missing. Korhonen trying to keep a closed guard but Richards is proving a slippery customer.
Richards slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Richards cracks Korhonen with an elbow. That is naaassty. Korhonen taking a bit of punishment here - Richards scoring with strikes. #CUT2# It looks like Olavi Korhonen has been cut.#T1# Richards is working Korhonen over with some ground and pound from side control. This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Ben Richards! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Ryu Aokison! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Aokison rushes Richards and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Richards changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Aokison fights it off and pushes away nicely.

I think Brock might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Venom's Theme. On his way into the cage it seems that Eddie Brock has been attacked by a crazed fan!
