Dieselnoi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Doe defends well and Dieselnoi ends up having to push Doe into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dieselnoi misses with a double jab
and Doe counters with a body kick.
Doe lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dieselnoi 's sensitive parts.
Dieselnoi walks forward, straight into a front kick from Doe.
Doe slaps away a takedown attempt from Dieselnoi , before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dieselnoi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Doe swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Doe throws a counter combo.
Dieselnoi dives in for a single leg takedown but Doe sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charin Dieselnoi . That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kamiya throws a hook but Dieselnoi blocks it.
Dieselnoi bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Good leg kick by Kamiya there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yuki Shojo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shojo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dieselnoi 's sensitive parts.

and Shojo counters with a three punch combo that has Dieselnoi backing up. Dieselnoi nods at Shojo to acknowledge the strikes.

Shojo is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Shojo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
