#R1# Bremner tests Hood's chin there with a solid looking shot. Hood scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Bremner connects with the punch. Hood throws a sloppy head kick and Bremner moves out of range easily. Hood throws a sloppy head kick and Bremner moves out of range easily. Hood takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Danga de danga de dang - Hood scores with a four punch combination! Hood fails to land the takedown. Bremner listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Hood misses with a few strikes there.
Bremner displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Hood moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Hood throws a body kick that misses enabling Bremner to counter with a crisp jab. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bremner, as that shot connected.
Bremner paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.#ROC2# Hood is rocked! Bremner keeps the fight on the outside.#T1# Bremner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bremner clobbers Hood with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Bremner swinging wildly here.
Bremner with a nice cross. Hood throws a leg kick but Bremner checks it. Despite the aggression on Bremner's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Bremner showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hood.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hood. Bremner tests Hood's chin there with a solid looking shot. Hood takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
#T2# Bremner lands with a right hand. Bremner pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hood back to the cage. Bremner follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bremner with a hook. Oh Hood is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Theo Bremner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#CL# Hood closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hood seems to have got his legs back now. Hood is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bremner gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cen Hood. That's going to take a lot out of him.#BC# Hood breaks from the clinch.

Bremner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#BC2# Bremner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
#T3# Bremner lands an overhand right.#KD2# Bremner lands a left and a right that send Hood crashing to the mat, dazed. Bremner thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Bremner plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Hood to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Hood just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

#R1##TD2# Bremner decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Pate controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Pate tries to get to full guard but Bremner has control of the leg. Pate is trying to stand.
Pate controlling the position well. Pate moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pate holds on and takes a little breather. Bremner wants to control from the top but Pate keeps moving. #T1# Bremner looking to sit in guard and control but Pate gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Pate postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Pate postures up.

Possibly, maybe, no Bremner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Pate is looking for a sweep.#T2# Bremner controls the position. Who's going to make the next move? Pate is looking for a sweep. Bremner trying to control the position but Pate is working away. Pate is looking to regain half guard here but Bremner keeps moving and retains side control. #T3# Pate struggling a bit here. Bremner wants to control but Pate is keeping him busy. Pate is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.#SUB2# Bremner is trying to get an arm triangle but Pate is defending well. Pate is trying to get back to his feet.#ES# Pate throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! The fighters roll with the hold and Pate manages to kick Bremner off! Bremner jumps back into Pate's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#SUB# Pate is looking for a triangle but Bremner pushes his legs off easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Hong Pate will probably get the nod. That's time! Pate's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. #R2# Pate circles away from the clinch attempt.

Pate can't fight it off and eventually Bremner manages to take the fight to the floor. Pate looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bremner is fighting to break Pate's control of his arms but Pate is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.#T1# Bremner wants to stand and escape but instead Pate has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVR# Pate landing some decent shots from guard. Pate scoring with some ground and pound. Pate might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pate is looking to work some ground and pound but Bremner has wrist control.#SUB2# Bremner looking for a guillotine here but Pate defends easily.
Pate would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. #T2# Bremner pulls Pate in to control the position. Pate throws a big right hand that misses. Pate cracks Bremner with a solid left hand. Pate in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. #SUB2# Bremner is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pate is aware though and is defending well. Bremner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.#SU# Pate stands up and waves to Bremner to follow him. #TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Pate enables Bremner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pate manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#ES# Pate is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Pate is concentrating on defense, preventing Bremner from advancing position. Pate blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bremner. Pate keeps control of the position for the meantime. #T4# Bremner stops Pate from getting back to his feet.
Pate moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Pate keeping moving, preventing Bremner from controlling successfully. Bremner loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Pate bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bremner's guard. #REVR# This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bremner managing to control the position. Pate wants to stand but Bremner is controlling his posture from full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hong Pate. I think Pate has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
