A head kick from Yamato lands but Johnson takes it in his stride. #TD2# Johnson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Yamato did well to prevent Johnson getting side control. Johnson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Johnson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Yamato blocking the ground and pound attempt from Johnson. Yamato tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control. Johnson not landing any meaningful shots this time. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnson postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Yamato on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Yamato doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
