The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mcmillan trying to control the position from guard on top but Lewis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lewis is pulling down on Mcmillan's head to control his posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcmillan trying to control but Lewis is working from the bottom. #SUB2# Mcmillan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lewis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mcmillan has managed to get both his arms back between Lewis's legs - danger averted.#T1# Lewis keeping moving, preventing Mcmillan from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Lewis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mcmillan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lewis pulls Mcmillan in to control the position. Lewis keeping moving, preventing Mcmillan from controlling successfully. #T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lewis wants to stand and escape but Mcmillan is having none of it. #ES2# Lewis pushes Mcmillan off and scrambles back to his feet.
#TD2# Mcmillan tries to sprawl but Lewis drives through with a takedown into half guard. Mcmillan wants to improve his position but Lewis is controlling well.
Mcmillan has hold of Lewis's hands but Lewis slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Mcmillan wants to get back to his feet.
#T3##SU2# Lewis decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mcmillan. Mcmillan is breathing heavily. Mcmillan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lewis is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.#TD2# Lewis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Lewis slips a nice elbow through Mcmillan's hands, connecting with Mcmillan's forehead. Lewis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. #SUB2# Lewis is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mcmillan sees it coming and defends easily.#T4# Lewis controlling the action here. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lewis connects with a nice short shot to Mcmillan's temple. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lewis content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Nice strikes from Lewis there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Reggie Lewis dominated that round. That's time! Mcmillan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. #R2##TD2# Lewis gets a double leg takedown into Mcmillan's guard. Lewis not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Lewis tries to free his leg and advance position but Mcmillan is retaining full guard. #SUB2# Lewis has gone for a leg lock! Mcmillan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lewis's guard.#REVR# Lewis wants to sweep here but Mcmillan controlling him for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lewis trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. #T1# Lewis seems keen to control Mcmillan's posture. Lewis has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Mcmillan trying to control the position from guard on top but Lewis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SU# Mcmillan gets to his feet. Lewis looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Mcmillan fails with the takedown#CL2# and Lewis holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.#TD2# Lewis has hold of one of Mcmillan's legs. Mcmillan is fighting the takedown attempt but Lewis gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.#SU2# Lewis gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. #TD2# Lewis manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mcmillan on his heels. He'll look to pass Mcmillan's guard now, I'm sure.#T2# Lewis works a leg free and moves into half guard. Still in half guard, Lewis seems content to control.#SUB2# Mcmillan is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Lewis has latched onto it... Big trouble! Lewis pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Mcmillan is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Lewis!

#R1# Mcmillan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Henderson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Henderson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Kenny Mcmillan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Henderson misses. A combination from Henderson does no damage. #TD2# Mcmillan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.#ES# Henderson kicks Mcmillan off and gets back to his feet.#TD2# Mcmillan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Henderson was covering up waiting for the punch and Mcmillan finishes the takedown easily into guard. #ES# Henderson pushes Mcmillan off and scrambles back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#TD2# Mcmillan shoots in for a takedown from distance. Henderson is trying to control Mcmillan's posture but Mcmillan avoids it. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Henderson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mcmillan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. Now Mcmillan has his back to the cage. #TD# Henderson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mcmillan uses from the top position. Henderson wants to improve his position but instead Mcmillan has moved into half guard.
Henderson is controlling Mcmillan's trapped leg to prevent Mcmillan from advancing to side control. Mcmillan is trying to control the action in half guard but Henderson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Mcmillan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Henderson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Henderson holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Henderson wants to control but Mcmillan is keeping busy.

#SUB2# Mcmillan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Henderson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Henderson cracks Mcmillan with a solid left hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Henderson is in close to Mcmillan's body, working some short punches and elbows. Henderson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Henderson stopping the sweep attempt from Mcmillan. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Henderson stands up over Mcmillan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! #R2##TD2# Mcmillan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Henderson keeping his opponent close. Henderson parries the strikes from Mcmillan easily there. Mcmillan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Henderson to escape.

Mcmillan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Henderson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Mcmillan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Henderson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The fighters are battling for position here. Henderson manages to regain full guard. Everett Henderson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Henderson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans.
