#R1# Boon shoots for a takedown but Anoai saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.#TD# Boon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Anoai can do anything to dispel that myth. Anoai misses with some strikes from the bottom.
#SUB# Boon wants to work for an arm triangle but Anoai is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Boon is looking for a kimura but Anoai is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Boon to get the leverage. #SUB# Boon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Anoai has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boon is working away from the top position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anoai wants to improve his position but Boon is controlling well.
#SUB2# Anoai is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boon pulls his head out easily. Anoai is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #T1##SUB# Anoai is defending against the submission attempts here by Boon.

Boon trying to pass the guard but Anoai defending well. #SUB# Boon is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. #SUB# Boon maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Anoai could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Boon has cracked it and Anoai is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Boon!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). William Boon! William Boon tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

#R1##CL# Anoai moves into range and clinches up with Sushi. Sushi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Anoai stalling the fight.
Sushi is trying to break the clinch but Anoai has him pressed against the cage. Anoai unloads a knee to the mid-section. Sushi lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. #TD# Anoai has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Sushi is trying to keep an underhook but Anoai manages to get the takedown into half guard. Well, if Anoai is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anoai seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sushi for as long as he can get away with.#T1# Anoai drops an elbow to the side of Sushi's head. Well, if Anoai is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Anoai scoring with strikes to the body and head. #T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Anoai works his way into full mount! Anoai looking to finish Sushi with some ground and pound. This is bad for Sushi! Anoai takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#SU# Anoai stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Anoai circles away from the clinch attempt.
#T3# Anoai pulls out of a head kick attempt.
#TD# Sushi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Anoai to score an easy takedown into full guard. Anoai engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #SUB# Anoai drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Anoai jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Anoai controls from within his opponent's guard. #T4# Anoai has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#SU# Anoai stands and steps away. Sushi gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.#T1# Anoai content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Anoai is really dominating this fight. You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Anoai lands a damaging elbow. #TD# Anoai wants the takedown. Sushi is fighting it off but Anoai persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sushi's guard against the cage. Anoai trying to control the position from guard on top but Sushi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anoai accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #SU# Anoai decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sushi, up you get! Sushi fails with the takedown. Anoai throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Sushi shoots for a double leg takedown but Anoai sprawls well. He's pushed Sushi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #T3# Anoai throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Anoai wants to take a breather but Sushi is having none of it. Anoai is really struggling to control Sushi but he's trying to hold on to the position.#SUB2# Sushi looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Anoai is controlling the pace.

Sammo Anoai dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Anoai obliges.#TD# Anoai has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sushi clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Both fighters are breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Good control from Anoai.#T1# Sushi trying to control but not successfully. Sushi is trying to break free.

#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.#SUB# Sushi is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Anoai lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Sushi.
Anoai controls the position.#T3# Sushi is trying to get back to his feet but Anoai has full control of the position and if anything, Sushi has just worked his way into a worse spot.#SUB# Sushi is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Anoai gets his way!

#T4# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sushi is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Anoai lands shots from the back. Sushi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Anoai biding his time, controlling Sushi. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Anoai continues to stall.
And that's the end of the fight! Sammo Anoai showed his dominance in that final round. Well Anoai has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
