Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss. Fernandez half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.#CL2# Johnson has closed the distance and engaged Fernandez in a clinch.
Johnson lands an elbow inside. Fernandez changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Johnson fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Johnson lands a damaging elbow. The Hawk jumps guard but Johnson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. The Hawk tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The Hawk lands with a short head shot on the inside. #BC# Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Case walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Johnson throws a series of punches but Case avoids them all with ease. It looked like Case was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
