Chavez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McCann to the mat! McCann manages to get full guard.
McCann is looking to sweep but instead, Chavez has passed into half guard.
McCann is trying to stand.
Chavez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
McCann is looking to improve his position.
Chavez is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Chavez wants to take a breather but McCann is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
