#R1# A head kick misses from Vena. Vena connects with the punch. Tee gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Tee tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Vena is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Tee buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Tee!! Tee is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Vena throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Vena!

#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Tee wants to clinch. Crank feints the counter takedown. Crank circles away from the clinch attempt.
Crank feints the counter takedown. Tee tries to clinch but Crank moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tee fails in his attempt to clinch. Tee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. And Crank tries to counter it with a takedown but Tee pushes his down on his head and steps out.#T1# Tee is looking to clinch. Crank drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Tee defends it well. Tee tries to clinch but Crank moves away #TD2# and Crank counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Crank. Crank lands a couple of digs. Crank won't allow Tee to get back to his feet. Crank has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Crank landing some decent shots from guard. Crank throws a big right hand that misses. Crank throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tee works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# Tee working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Crank. Tee is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Crank working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Crank's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Crank is working Tee over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Crank scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Tee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Crank is controlling him. Crank throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tee works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tee has momentary wrist control but Crank slips an elbow through the middle.#ROC2# Tee is rocked! Tee has momentary wrist control but Crank slips an elbow through the middle. Oh Tee is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Crank arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Tee's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
