Flare lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Flare.
Flare misses with a left hand
and Kulina counters with a straight right hand.
Kulina avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Kulina counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Flare throws a series of punches but Kulina moves out of range.
Flare wants to clinch up but Kulina keeps it at a distance.

and Kulina counters with a straight right hand.
Kulina jabs Flare right on the nose. Flare blinks but takes it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Flare gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Flare tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Kulina is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Flare buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Flare!! Flare is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Kulina throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Flare's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wibowo under the eye.
Flare connects with a body shot that sends Wibowo's belly button to the back.
Wibowo closes the distance and clinches up with Flare, looking for a takedown. Wibowo pushes Flare against the cage but Flare circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Flario Flare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wibowo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Flare looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wibowo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
