Oh, Mccray has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Mccray tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thompson wants to control but Mccray postures up. Mccray tries to stand but Thompson is controlling his head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Thompson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. That was a close round but I would say that Kenny Mccray will probably get the nod. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mccray in particular looking to stall. Mccray has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#SU# Mccray stands up out of the half guard. A left and a right from Lee both land. Maeda has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mccray is trying to control Maeda's posture but Maeda avoids it. Maeda connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mccray some visible discomfort.
