Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Yuki Shojo and Nelson Preto. Preto has chosen Boom boom boom as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Yuki Shojo! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Nelson Preto! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Preto shoots in for a takedown but Shojo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Shojo gets in close and instigates a clinch. Preto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Shojo walks away with a smile on his face. Preto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Preto clinches with his opponent.

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Preto darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. #R1# Preto looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Preto tries to clinch but Silva moves out of range. Silva scores with a nice head shot. Silva scores with a decent looking hook. Preto takes a shot right to the bread basket. Preto takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Preto shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one. A little jabbing left from Silva on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Preto moves forwards but Silva connects with a nice, crisp jab. Silva scores with a jab. Preto acknowledges it with a nod of the head. #T1# Preto fails miserably with a takedown attempt. It seemed like Silva was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Preto ducks right into an uppercut from Silva. #CL# Silva gets tackled into the cage by Preto. Preto maintains the clinch. #TD# Preto jumps guard.

Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Preto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silva wants it to stay on the feet. Preto needs to keep his hands up - Silva had a free shot at his head there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A shot to the liver by Silva. Beautiful body shot. Silva lands with a cross. Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Preto moves away. Silva lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Jaa leaves Preto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jaa lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.#CL2# Jaa gets a clinch. #TD2# Jaa successfully pulls guard.
Preto trying to control but Jaa is working from the bottom. Preto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jaa swivels though and keeps the full guard. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Wallace is defending well. Preto quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Wallace has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Well, if Mason is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

#R1##CL# Sharp fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Preto, pushing him back against the cage. Preto jumps guard but Sharp turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Preto tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Preto gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sharp.

Nick Sharp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nelson Preto. Sharp landing some nice looking knees to the body.
