As Gardenia backs off Hager throws a huge counter combo but Gardenia manages to avoid it all. Hager tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gardenia defends well and Hager ends up having to push Gardenia into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Jackson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hager. Hager definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hager paws at him with a jab and circles away. Martinez is trying to get back to full guard. Hager is taking a breather. Martinez says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Martinez is looking to get back to full guard here but Hager has managed to pass to side control instead. Martinez is looking to reverse the position. Hager landing strikes. Sloppy strikes there by Hager. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hager throws a big elbow that misses. Hager is standing up over Olson. Olson looks to escape but Hager dives into side control.
#SUB# Olson tries to escape back to his feet but Hager has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Olson's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Olson is tapping! Hager saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
