#R1##CL# Bagwell gets tackled into the cage by Butler. Butler maintains the clinch. #TD2# Bagwell drags the fight down to the ground.
#SUB2# Bagwell is looking for a triangle but Butler pushes his legs off easily.
Butler content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Butler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#SUB2# Bagwell looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Butler has picked Bagwell up and slammed him! Bagwell can't keep hold of the triangle and Butler manages to pass to side control! Bagwell is trying to improve his position. Bagwell tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Butler could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bagwell tries to control Butler's body but Butler pushes him off. Bagwell squirms to his side and now Butler has his back! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bagwell looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Bagwell wants to get back to his feet. #T1# Bagwell tries to escape but Butler has the hooks in and won't let him break free. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Butler tightening his grip on Bagwell, looking for the choke. Bagwell is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bagwell is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Bagwell just trying to survive but Butler is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Bagwell tries to roll but Butler sticks to his back.
Bagwell keeps trying to improve his position. Butler lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Butler keeps control of the position as Bagwell tries to break free.
#SUB# Butler is looking for the choke from the back position but Bagwell is controlling his hands well. #T3# Bagwell looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Bagwell manages to reverse the position and now he's in Butler's guard. Nice work there by Bagwell.
#SUB# Butler had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bagwell defends it easily. Bagwell forces his way into half guard. Butler wants to get back to full guard. Butler is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bagwell scores with a couple of nice shots.#CUT2# It looks like Clifford Butler has been cut. Bagwell controlling the pace. #T4# Ground and pound from Bagwell. #CUT2# Clifford Butler's cut is getting worse. Butler is not content to let Bagwell control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bagwell lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Bagwell is trying to control the action in half guard but Butler is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bagwell lands strikes from half guard.#CUT2# Jeez, Clifford Butler's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Clifford Butler's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
