#R1##TD# Reeb shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Reeb showed some decent athleticism there. Reeb is taking a breather. Kennedy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Reeb takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.#SUB# Reeb is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kennedy is just riding it out for now. Reeb eventually gives up the hold. Reeb seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reeb working over Kennedy with some ground and pound. Kennedy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Kennedy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reeb. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Reeb winds up and cracks Kennedy with a swinging punch to the side of the head. #SUB# Reeb is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kennedy sees it coming and defends easily.#T1# Reeb drops an elbow to the side of Kennedy 's head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Reeb connects with a nice short shot to Kennedy 's temple. #ROC# Kennedy is rocked!#SUB# Reeb is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kennedy is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jt Reeb!
