and Fisher counters with a left and a right that stings Burt. #CL# Fisher gets tackled into the cage by Burt. Burt maintains the clinch. A nice left hand lands by Fisher.
Fisher is trying to push Burt away but Burt has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Fisher wants to get back to striking at distance but Burt won't allow it.

Fisher throws a head kick that misses and Burt counters with a straight right hand. Burt throws a lazy right hand but Fisher sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.#T1# Fisher cracks the inside of Burt's front leg. #TD# Burt manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fisher on his heels. He'll look to pass Fisher's guard now, I'm sure. Burt missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fisher controls Burt momentarily but Burt frees himself. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Burt's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Burt is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Burt lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Burt content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Burt postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. #SUB2# Fisher looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Burt passes into side control.
Burt works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.#T2# Burt looks up at the clock and then as Fisher takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Burt smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Check out the look on Burt's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fisher controls the position for a moment. Burt cracks Fisher with a big right hand but Fisher just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Fisher on the wrong end of some ground and pound. #T3##SUB# Burt working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Burt landing a few strikes. A control attempt from Fisher but he's now mounted! Fisher tries to hold on but Burt pushes him away. Burt connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burt scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Darrin Burt dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chris Fisher's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2# Fisher throws a body shot but no joy. Fisher avoids the body shot from Burt.

Despite the aggression on Fisher's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Fisher lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Burt circles away quickly and effectively. Fisher gets off balance looking for a body kick and Fisher takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Burt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fisher as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darrin Burt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fisher swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Burt counters with a lovely straight right hand! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fisher throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Burt. #TD# Burt shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fisher napping and manages to drive through into side control! Fisher is looking to get back to his feet here but Burt is keeping cool and he's managed to take Fisher's back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fisher is breathing heavily. Burt lands with a hammerfist to the side of Fisher's head. Burt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#T1# Fisher is in bad spot here.
#SUB# Burt is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Fisher knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Fisher for a finish. Burt lands shots from the back. Burt scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

#TD2# and Crank counters with a takedown into side control. Fisher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crank on the ground. Crank lands a nice forearm strike. Crank looks up at the clock and then as Fisher takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Crank smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Fisher is trying to control Crank's posture but Crank avoids it. Crank scoring with punches and elbows. Crank is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crank scores with punches from side control. #ROC2# Fisher is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Chris Fisher has been cut. Crank has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Crank lands a big left to the face of Fisher, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Crank and another - Fisher is out! Crank stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.

Madsen throws a push kick but Fisher slaps the foot to one side. #TD# Madsen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fisher quickly recovers to half guard. Fisher tries to get to full guard but Madsen has control of the leg. Madsen content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Madsen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fisher doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Madsen. Madsen slows the pace down in half guard. #T1# Madsen is looking to advance position but Fisher won't allow it. Madsen not doing much here.
