Milanesi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Vladimirovich fails to land the takedown.#CL2# Vladimirovich darts in and clinches Milanesi up against the cage. I was talking to Milanesi's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Vladimirovich throws a head punch that misses. Milanesi manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC# Milanesi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Vladimirovich drops down looking for an ankle pick but Buitenwesten pulls his leg out and moves away.
Buitenwesten scores with a hook to the body. Vladimirovich takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Buitenwesten throws a right hand that Vladimirovich ducks under and follows up with a left that Vladimirovich also avoids with ease.#CL# Buitenwesten clinches up against the cage. Buitenwesten wants to hold on but Vladimirovich pushes him away. Buitenwesten knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vladimirovich on the ground. Vladimirovich lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Vladimirovich seems keen to control Buitenwesten's posture. Vladimirovich has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Buitenwesten is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Buitenwesten is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Vladimirovich.

Vladimirovich throws a big elbow that misses. Sweeney preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sweeney bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vladimirovich's guard. #REVR# Vladimirovich avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sweeney has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sweeney postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. #SUB# Sweeney drops back for a leg!
