Souza changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hai looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hai is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Souza off and has taken his back!

Hai has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Souza! Can he survive? No! He's out! Hai gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Souza tries to clinch up but McNakamura pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Souza to the mat! Souza covers up and McNakamura unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Souza leaves Perdec with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Souza throws a counter high kick but Perdec was just alert enough to avoid it.
Souza has a takedown stuffed.
Perdec unleashes a big counter combination but Souza bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Souza misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A nice side step and Perdec releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Perdec throws a push kick but Souza slaps the foot to one side.
Souza defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Perdec.
Perdec looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Souza tries to score a power double leg takedown but Perdec sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Souza somewhat.

Well Perdec has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
