Striken on the wrong end of a nice jab. Striken shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Kevolle lands a nice looking body shot.
Kevolle moves into range and connects with a jab. Nice uppercut there from Kevolle. Kevolle misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Striken.

Draco Kevolle seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kevolle keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kevolle throws a looping overhand right but Striken ducks down to avoid it. Kevolle lands a really nice looking cross but Striken seems unphased.
Striken tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. This has been an exciting period of action! Kevolle digs a good body shot into Striken's ribs.#T2# Striken takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kevolle throws a shot to the body.
Kevolle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Striken moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A swing and a miss from Kevolle. Striken throws a big counter combination but Kevolle scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. No luck with that takedown attempt from Striken. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joseph Striken. That's going to take a lot out of him. Striken goes for a double leg but Kevolle avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kevolle continues to drive forward. Kevolle is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Striken is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Striken takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Striken uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kevolle. Striken steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kevolle. Striken fails with a takedown attempt. Striken is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kevolle sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. #T3# Kevolle works Striken's body with a nice hook. Decent striking displayed by Kevolle there. Kevolle slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Striken gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Kevolle fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Striken on the side of the head.#T4# Kevolle throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Nice cross by Kevolle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#CL# Striken closes the distance and clinches.#BC# Striken manages to break the clinch.

#R1# Striken tries to clinch but Walsh is having none of it. #TD2# Striken drives through with a takedown into Walsh's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Striken trying to control but Walsh is working from the bottom. Walsh wants to get back to his feet but Striken is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Striken throws a strike but Walsh rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# Striken is striking but Walsh is not phased and passes to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Walsh is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Striken wants to get back to full guard.#T1##SUB# Walsh is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Striken defends it well. Striken is looking to escape. Striken punching from the bottom.
Striken has a hand on Walsh's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Walsh takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Walsh controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Striken is desperately trying to improve his position but Walsh has a good base and remains in mount. Striken sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#TD2# Striken decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
