The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Freis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barlow is one step ahead there. #SU# Barlow gets to his feet - Freis follows without any prompting. #CL2# Freis clinches. #TD2# Freis is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Barlow can't fight it off and eventually Freis manages to take the fight to the floor. Barlow looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Freis looking to pass the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Freis looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Barlow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Freis on the ground.#T1# Barlow is pulling down on Freis's head. It's preventing any offense from Freis, at least for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barlow is trying to get back to half guard. Barlow prevents Kendol from improving position. Kendol works to advance to full mount. Barlow defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Barlow is in all sorts of trouble here.

We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

#R1##TD2# Diaz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Diaz tries to stand but Barlow is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz stands and throws Barlow's legs to the side, diving into side control. Barlow is looking for a sweep. Diaz tries to score with some ground and pound. Barlow controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Barlow takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Barlow tries to bench press Diaz off him but Diaz keeps the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barlow is trying to control Diaz's posture but Diaz avoids it. Diaz tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. #T1# Barlow wants to control but Diaz postures up. Diaz is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Barlow's shoulder. That is not cool. #R1##TD2# Swint scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Swint looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Barlow is avoiding damage well.
Barlow is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Swint connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Barlow some visible discomfort.
#SU2# Swint stands up. Barlow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Swint tries to avoid it but Barlow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Swint to the ground. Swint escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Swint tried to score with a low kick but Barlow checks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barlow's jab looks to have found its range, popping Swint under the eye. Barlow checks a low kick from Swint. Swint throws a series of punches but Barlow avoids them all with ease. Barlow avoids a punch combination nicely.
