Leniec avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Johnson.
Johnson stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johnson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. #T1#
Johnson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Leniec knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Leniec on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Johnson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Johnson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Johnson working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Leniec turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Johnson off and cradles Leniec's limp body as Johnson celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Curtis Johnson!
A very excited looking Curtis Johnson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Leniec shoots in looking for a takedown but Rivera manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Leniec's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rivera looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.#CL#

Leniec ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Leniec no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. #SUB#
Leniec is looking for a triangle here but Rivera uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Leniec is breathing heavily.
Rivera postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Rivera tries to score with some ground and pound. Leniec controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Rivera is working to tighten his grip on Leniec's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Leniec has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rivera is really squeezing tight and eventually Leniec passes out! Rivera breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Leniec prevents Mills from breaking the clinch.
Mills wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Leniec has him pressed against the cage.#TD2#

Mills postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. #SUB#

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mills connects with a nice short shot to Leniec's temple.

Mills goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Leniec has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mills but great work by Leniec.

Leniec throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Mills works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Leniec seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mills does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kajtek Leniec comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Leniec has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
