Teller has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Teller checks the leg kick nicely there.

Mcshrads is standing up over Teller. Teller looks to escape but Mcshrads dives into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#REVB# Teller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcshrads. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Teller is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mcshrads has just dragged him back down to the mat.#SUB# Mcshrads is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Teller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Teller lands on the inside with an uppercut. Diaz is trying to pull guard but Teller has him pressed against the ropes. Teller lands a hook to the side of the head.#ROC# Diaz is rocked!#BC# Teller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Teller finish him? Teller closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Diaz out cold! Diaz corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

#R1##TD2# Teller throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Horton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Teller is in Horton's guard. Teller stopping the sweep attempt from Horton. Teller trying to move into half guard but instead Horton has managed to sweep!#REVR# Horton is looking to work some ground and pound but Teller has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Horton postures up and lands a big shot to Teller's brow. #SU# Horton stands up from guard. Let's bang! Horton connects with a single shot there.#CL2# Teller moves into the clinch. Horton tries to break free but Teller pushes him back against the cage.#TD2# Teller turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Teller manages to end up in side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Teller working away.#SUB2# Teller goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Horton rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Teller's guard! Nice work there by Horton! #T1# Horton trying to control but Teller is working from the bottom. Horton preventing the sweep. Horton lands a couple of digs.#SUB# Horton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Horton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Horton throwing strikes but missing. #ES2# Teller uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Teller engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Horton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Horton working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Teller. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#TD2# Teller looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Horton! Horton manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Horton trying to control but Teller postures up.
Teller tries to stand but can't do so whilst Horton controls his leg. #T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.#SUB# Horton looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Teller tries to pass the half guard into mount. Horton knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Still in half guard, Teller seems content to control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Horton is refusing to be controlled, as Teller sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Horton goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Teller slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Horton controls Teller momentarily but Teller frees himself. Teller has been the more effective fighter overall so far.#T1# A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Teller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #SUB# Teller avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
