Jordan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rodriguez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jordan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Rodriguez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jordan is controlling him. Jordan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jordan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rodriguez's head. Jordan pushing down on Rodriguez's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Jordan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Jordan lands strikes from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rodriguez tries to kick Jordan off in order to stand up. Saravakos working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Saravakos lands a body punch in the clinch. Saravakos prevents Rodriguez from breaking the clinch. Saravakos scores with a shot to the side of Rodriguez's head. #TD2# Saravakos lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Rodriguez tries to kick Saravakos off in order to stand up. Saravakos Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Rodriguez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Saravakos on the ground. Saravakos working the head and body with strikes. Saravakos lands a few punches from side control. Rodriguez has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Saravakos lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rodriguez down.

Rodriguez throws a half hearted mid kick. Rodriguez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rodriguez punishes Lister's body with a nice straight punch. Lister has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Lister dives in for a single leg takedown but Rodriguez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Lister fails to land the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Lister looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nice body punch from Rodriguez. Rodriguez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lister moves out of range and avoids them all easily. No luck for Lister with that takedown attempt. Mark Rodriguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dean Lister. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lister has a takedown stuffed. Rodriguez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Rodriguez follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Lister to the canvas! Rodriguez pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Lister has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
